Live Music Performances at 91 South Restaurant
Innkeeper Matt Mattingly has spent his life skirting the world of live music and for many years performed throughout the United States and is a member of the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers. Although rarely performing these days, he continues to embrace musicians from all walks of life and welcome them to the stage at 91 South. Almost any night the restaurant is open you might find an incredible talented musician playing some just launching their career and others enjoying a rare performance after a lifetime of touring.
Among those regularly performing at the PineCrest you will find music several nights each week. Every Wednesday join us for an OLD TIME PIANO BAR starring the talents of Rob Robbins. Rob plays your requests and as the night goes on we banter in some jovial Name That Tune. Make your best guess with only two bars of the melody.
Thursday's you can join the amazing and talented JazzBarry Jam. Barry Saunders and friends hit the Jazz standards.
Friday's we are joined by Master Fiddler Don Roy and his trio plus one playing Franco American fiddle music. Alternating Fridays we welcome Ken Karby who has been delighting guests with his background solo guitar stylings since we began dinner service almost 10 years ago.
The PineCrest also hosts monthly house concerts with musicians from around the country. Our microphone is always hot for that special up and coming star. Since our venue is so intimate, these performances are ones to be remembered.
