A second generation wine maker from Argentina, and vintner of El Malbec de Richardo Santos from the La Madra
Vineyard in Mendoza Argentina.
CUCHILLAS DE LUNLUNTA Sociedad Anónima is a family business owned by the Santos family, who have been related to
wine making for more than forty years.
In 1995 they started producing wines exclusively with grapes from Las Madras, the winery located in the first region, in
Russell, Maipú. Las Madras has an area of 12 hectares exclusively planted to Malbec, the only grape used to produce
"El Malbec de Ricardo Santos."
Since making a high-quality, hand-crafted wine is a very complex and delicate task, Cuchillas de Lunlunta devotes all their efforts
to the produc-tion of only one wine: "El Malbec de Ricardo Santos."
This weekend begins on Friday night, January 19th, with the tasting and conversation with
Mr. Santos. Extra Bottles on hand for those wishing to bring some home.
Saturday morning greets you to a leisurely gourmet breakfast. Visit local sites or just spend a chilly January day
lounging about. On Saturday Night you will be treated to a marvelous 5 course Spa Dinner with our very own
Chef Mo. This dinner is the perfect way to keep those resolutions. Chef Mo is preparing a Spa Dinner - low fat, high flavor.
Our Package includes: two nights lodging, breakfast for two both mornings, and a personal tasting with
Mr. Santos, dinner for two on Saturday Evening.
