Seasonal Stays

Some visits call for more than a room. These are a few of the ways we help a stay become something you'll remember — and if you're dreaming of something we haven't named, simply ask. We delight in the details.

The Holiday Shopping Stay

The Inn sits at the center of New England's finest shopping — Freeport, Kittery, and North Conway all within easy reach. Spend your days seeking the perfect gift; return each evening to a quiet, candlelit Inn. We'll have a wrapping station ready — fine paper, ribbon, everything you need — and a warm welcome waiting between outings. The most graceful way we know to finish a holiday list.

The Winter Stay

Winter in Maine is the season to slow down and reconnect. Downhill skiing is minutes away at Shawnee Peak, and Smiling Hill Farm keeps more than twenty-five kilometers of groomed cross-country trails. Gather local cheese and a good bottle of wine, and bring it back to the Inn to settle in by candlelight. Stay through late March for the long-loved tradition of Maine Maple Sunday, or time your visit with Portland Restaurant Week.

A Weekend Among Friends

Reserve a few rooms and make the Inn your own for a weekend. Ease into unhurried mornings, wander into Portland for an afternoon and an evening worth dressing for, then return to the quiet comfort of the Inn. Come August 2026, The Folsom Spa opens its doors — and the pampering won't require leaving home at all.
